In this video, I see your five reasons why buying a host is a bad investment. I outlined the truth that no one tells us about home ownership and why it may be better to rent a house or a property than to buy one. I also evaluate the pros and cons of renting versus buying a house And use facts and figures to prove that buying a property is not always the best decision. Five primary reasons include the fact that buying a property or a home is not always money well spent because when you look at what it cost you for the down payment plus the closing cost to include things like stamped duty transfer fees registration fees as well as the incidentals to influe property appraisal, insurance, property tax in addition to the monthly mortgage payment, investing money in portfolio income would reap significantly more returns on investment even at an interest rate that is for an instrument that is relatively low risk. Other reasons include the unexpected expenses associated with buying a house to include the escrow deposit property taxes commitment fees stamp duty. Another reason is the fact that when buying a house you may not capitalize on the home investment unless you sell the house and reap an ROI. The appreciation of a property isn’t guaranteed and that is the fourth reason covered as well as the limitation associated with being a real estate investor and owning property and being able to take care of the needs of your tenants or being able to sell your real estate fast enough to invest in instruments with higher ROI.
