Alex Trebek’s longtime, final home in Los Angeles has hit the market for $7 million more than a year after his death, The Post can report.

Trebek, who died Nov. 8, 2020, at age 80 after losing his yearlong battle with stage 4 pancreatic cancer, had purchased the home with his then-newlywed wife, Jean Trebek, back in 1991 for $2.15 million.

They would remain in the house where the late, beloved “Jeopardy!” host would raise three children and grow to become a household icon.

Located in Studio City, the five-bedroom, 11-bathroom residence was listed on Saturday.

Situated in the upscale community of Fryman Estates, the 1923 Mediterranean-style home features 10,000 square feet of living space just under 1½ acres, according to the listing.

The residence spans almost 10,000 square feet.

The main house comes with four generously sized bedrooms, nine bathrooms, four fireplaces, a butler’s pantry, formal and informal dining rooms, a theater and a bar, the listing notes.

On the property is also a one-bedroom, two-bathroom detached guest house.

Expansive grounds include a pool, lush greenery and mature oak trees.

A source told The Post that his widow, Jean, was ready to let go of the home she had known during her 30-year marriage to Alex, whom she married in April 1990.

“He was really the love of her life,” the insider said. “She knew in order to ever move forward she would have to let go of the house.”

In the October 2021 issue of the Eden Magazine, Jean, 58, opened up about her marriage to Trebek.

“Like most long-term relationships, we had our ups and downs, but the truth of it was that we were very close and experienced a lot of life together,” she shared, explaining how it was “important to Alex to keep his personal life separate from his professional life,” aside from when they would make public appearances.

“In looking back, the fact that I did not identify Alex as an ‘icon’ was a gift,” she continued. “We were equal partners in a marriage, and we had our own personal growth issues to deal with just like any ordinary couple.”

Alex’s daughter, Emily Trebek, and Renee Ogiens with Compass hold the listing.
