Former Japanese Princess Mako and her new commoner husband, Kei Komuro, have moved into a one-bedroom apartment in Hell’s Kitchen as they settle into their new life in the Big Apple.

The newlyweds, both 30, were spotted carrying their luggage into the residential building on 52nd Street on Sunday after touching down at John F. Kennedy Airport, the Daily Mail reported.

But while the ex-royal and her hubby are reported to only be renting a one-bedroom unit, the building is described as “luxury living” on its website.

One-bedroom apartments in the building — which overlooks the Hudson River and is just a stone’s throw from Central Park — currently rent for at least $4,300 a month.

The 392 apartments in the complex, which was completed in 2017, all boast sprawling views of the city, the building’s website reads.

The building also has a rooftop lounge, fitness center, spa, library and even a golf simulator.

The couple had moved into a condo in Tokyo after their low-key nuptials last month before permanently relocating to New York.

Japanese media outlets reported at the time that the newlyweds would be renting a one-bedroom apartment.

The couple is set to be financially independent after Mako turned down a $1.23 million payment that she was entitled to after giving up her royal title to marry Komuro.

Mako’s husband, who has yet to pass the state bar exam, currently works in the Lowenstein Sandler law firm’s Manhattan offices.

The former princess, who is the eldest daughter of Crown Prince Fumihito and niece of Emperor Naruhito, is in the process of securing a visa so she can also work in the US, according to Japanese public broadcaster NHK.

The couple met while attending Tokyo’s International Christian University a decade ago.

But their plan to marry, which was announced in 2017, was plagued by controversy due to a financial dispute involving Komuro’s mother.

They opted not to have a formal wedding ceremony or reception in the wake of years-long criticism.

The couple held a press conference shortly after tying the knot during which Mako said: “For me, Kei-san is a priceless person. For us, our marriage was a necessary choice to live while cherishing our hearts.”

Komuro responded: “I love Mako. I live only once and I want to spend it with someone I love.”

“I hope to have a warm family with Mako-san, and I will continue to do everything to support her,” he added.
