Buying Real Estate here in Mexico can seem complicated and overwhelming. But it’s a simple enough process when you have a good agent guiding you through and making it happen. Real Estate agents (with help from their team, PA, Closing co ordinator) take care of the bulk of the administration. So for you, as the buyer, it’s quite simple.
Just be aware: Closing costs are between 4-6% (on top of the purchase price) + There is a yearly fee for the bank trust of around $500 USD for foreign buyers). Property Tax is very cheap here.
Note: as a buyer, you don’t pay realtor fees.
