Real Estate During Covid 19; Buying, Selling & Renting

Selling Real Estate
Today we’re going to be taking a look at real estate; buying, selling, renting. What does it all mean for us in the era of COVID19. Is it a good time to buy? Is it a bad time to sell? What happens if a person can’t afford to pay for her rent because she’s out of a job? Is there a recourse available?

Joining the conversation to answer these questions is Andy Weiser, Broker Associate at the House of ReMax. Andy has consistently been ranked in the top 1% of all realtors worldwide. A lifelong Realtor, Andy moved to Fort Lauderdale from New York City in 1998. The New York Times, The Wall Street Journal, The Miami Herald and CNN all rely on Andy as a valued resource when it comes to analyzing and comprehending the current market trends in Fort Lauderdale Real Estate.

Andy says that based on a market analysis buyers are still looking to buy, although there has been a drop by 20% compared with the volume this time last year. The market prices haven’t shifted thus far, as prices remain stable, but the potential of a higher volume of foreclosures in future is a possibility.

Andy’s Best Practice for:
Virtual viewing is the safest practice when house hunting, but when necessary buyers should practice good social distancing protocol when engaging in a walk-through.

Sellers should leave cabinets open, air conditioning running, surfaces clean and clutter-free.
