4 Resources for Investors To Stay Ahead

Savvy investors know the importance of understanding market trends and what’s happening in the real estate industry. In order to build financial intelligence, you should be paying attention to current events and the state of the economy.

However, one problem investors may run into with the mainstream news is that a lot of the content about the real estate market is written for real estate agents or consumers. It’s important to evaluate news through the lens of a real estate investor. Here are four of my favorite resources for staying ahead of the market.

1) Seeking Alpha (https://seekingalpha.com). On a broad level, Seeking Alpha is your one-stop-shop to understanding what’s happening in the market. Seeking Alpha provides investors with relevant news, stock analysis and on-topic newsletters to follow their investments. With their premium service, you can dive deeper into specific stock analysis and get a better understanding of stock comparisons and performance.

2) Apple News (https://www.apple.com/apple-news). With Apple News, you can create a custom feed with the topics you’re personally interested in. You can curate a free, built-in news feed with interesting, topical news. This is a great way for you to receive relevant news that is tailored to you and your specific interests. If you’re not an Apple user, you can use Google News in a similar manner.

3) Morning Invest (https://morninginvest.com/) Morning Invest is a daily newsletter that helps you stay informed and ahead of the game. Morning Invest delivers to your inbox every morning with a few of the most important real estate news items of the day. My favorite thing about Morning Invest is that it’s written specifically for real estate investors like you.

4) Investing in Real Estate Podcast with Clayton Morris (https://morrisinvest.com/podcasts) Three times a week, I’m bringing you the latest real estate updates on my podcast! On Mondays, we’re either covering relevant news or discussing motivational topics. Wednesdays, Natali and I share our experience running a business and investing as a family. And on Thursdays, I sit down with an expert in the real estate industry. You can subscribe on Apple Podcasts, Overcast, Spotify, and more.
