When you are selling a property do you get a realtor to sell it for you or do you sell it yourself. Realtors take a pretty decent cut and it would be nice to keep that commision for myself. I was just wondering what you guys do.

I just use a realtor, because i have a job and dont really have the time to sell the house myself. I also want to get it sold as soon as possible and dont want to have to carry the house over for another mortgage payment. That is what works for me, but may not be for everyone. If selling a house is a strong point for you and you have the extra time to do it, you can sell it yourself. Just make sure you can afford to carry the house payment if you are having a difficult time selling.

i use a realtor, when you figure out the costs just add in the cost of using a realtor to find a deal that will work for you with the cash needed to pay for the commission.
